Zusammenfassung:	A vibrator for an ultrasonic motor and the ultrasonic motor using the same are provided to prevent degradation of the ultrasonic motor by reducing frictional heat by spacing the vibrator apart from a rotor. A vibrator for an ultrasonic motor includes an elastic unit(300) and a piezoelectric ceramic(310). The elastic unit is hollow and compressed and restored by an external tensile force. The elastic unit is made of aluminum, a stainless steel, and a bronze. The piezoelectric ceramic generates a voltage, when a pressure is applied. The piezoelectric ceramic converts mechanical vibration energy to an electric energy or the electric energy to the mechanical vibration energy. The piezoelectric ceramics are formed at four side end portions of the elastic unit. The piezoelectric ceramics are arranged, so that a pair of piezoelectric ceramics with opposite polarities are arranged at the side end portion.
