Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a method for producing carbon-combined fireproof products consisting of fireproof grains and an organic binding agent. According to said method, a powdery coaltar pitch that can be graphited and has a benzo(a)pyrene content of less than 500 mg/kg and a coke residue of at least approximately 80 wt. % according to DIN 51905, and a binding agent that is liquid at room temperature, can be graphited and has a coke residue of at least approximately 15 wt. % and a benzo[a] pyrene content of less than 500 ppm according to DIN 51905, are combined to form an organic binding agent. Said organic binding agent is mixed with the remaining constituents, transferred into a moulded body, and then heat-treated at a temperature of between 150 and approximately 400 ‹C. ® KIPO & WIPO 2007
