COMMUNICATION INFORMATION APPLICATION SERVICE APPARATUS FOR MOBILE COMMUNICATION NETWORK

A communication information operation service apparatus in a wireless communication network is provided to easily execute management and maintenance of an HLR(Home Location Register) by specially installing an HLR managing server having identifiers and subscriber numbers of the HLR. A communication information operation service apparatus in a wireless communication network consists of BTSs(Base Transceiver Stations)(A1-An), BSCs(Base Station Controllers)(B1-Bn), MSCs(Mobile Switching Centers)(C1-Cn), VLRs(Visitor Location Registers)(D1-Dn), an HLR(10), and an HLR server(20). The HLR(10), interworking with the HLR server(20), shares subscriber information and location information of mobile subscribers with the HLR server(20). The HLR server(20), having the identifiers and subscriber numbers of the HLR(10), executes location information requests or handoff procedures by interworking with the HLR(10). The HLR server(20) provides a matching function for the identifiers and subscriber numbers of the HLR(10). In relation to a location information request for connecting a call between mobile terminals, the HLR server(20) translates the calling/called identifiers only, and bypasses it to the HLR(10).
