Zusammenfassung:	Provided is a thread-type battery, which is suitable for necklace-type PDAs, cellular phones, etc, supplies electricity without using an additional device for the battery, and can be woven into a cloth-type battery. The tread-type battery is prepared by the steps of: forming thread-type positive electrode and negative electrode into thread using a generally known weaving method such as radial type or twist type; and subjecting the prepared thread to protective coating. The positive electrode or negative electrode consists of a thread-type current collector(b,e) formed of an electric conductor, an electrode(c,f) formed by coating the outer peripheral surface of the electrode(c,f) with any one material selected from positive or negative electrode materials, and an electrolyte(d) that is a passage of ions applied onto the outer peripheral surface of the electrode(c,f).
