APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING DATA IN MOBILE NETWORK

An apparatus and a method for processing data in a mobile network are provided to smoothly provide a TCP(Transmission Control Protocol) or UDP(User Datagram Protocol)-based multimedia service by effectively preventing disordering of packets. A binding updating process is performed to change the first temporary address to the second temporary address according to a movement of a mobile node. A packet of the received first temporary address is processed and a packet of the received second temporary address is temporally stored in a buffer. When a packet transmission complete message using the first temporary address is received, the buffered packet is processed. In this case, the packet having the first temporary address is generated earlier than the packet having the second temporary address.
