BIOMETRICS AUTHENTICATION METHOD, BIOMETRICS AUTHENTICATION DEVICE, AND BLOOD VESSEL IMAGE READING DEVICE

A method and a device for biometric authentication, and a blood vessel image reading device are provided to perform the biometric authentication with a blood vessel image according to temperature of a user while keeping stability of the biometric information and perform the proper biometric information even if the temperature of the user is different between registration and use. A capturing unit(1) captures the blood vessel image of the user. A temperature detector(20) detects the temperature of the user. An IC card reader/writer reads and writes an IC card for storing feature data of the blood vessel image of the user and temperature of the registration of the feature data. A control unit extracts the feature data from the captured blood vessel image and compares the extracted feature data with the feature data registered to the IC card. The control unit identifies a comparison error caused from a temperature difference between the temperature capturing the blood vessel image and registering the IC card by detecting the temperature capturing the blood vessel image from the temperature detector.
