METHOD OF CONTROLLING RING TIME IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION NETWORK

A method of controlling ring time in a mobile communication network is provided to enable an MSC to cancel a call with a called party and connect the call to a mail box when counted ring time is more than reference waiting time, thereby enabling a subscriber to leave a voice or a message to the called party because the call is connected to the mail box when the called party does not receive the call during the time which the subscriber sets. A method of controlling ring time in a mobile communication network comprises the following steps of: enabling an MSC(Mobile Switching Center) to count the call waiting or ring time of a terminal by an origination request from a terminal joined in a ring time control service or a call request from the terminal(S201~S209-2); and enabling the MSC to connect a call by the origination request of the terminal or the reception request from the terminal to a mail box when the count time passes a set time(S210,S211).
