Zusammenfassung:	A heat exchange system for a slurry bubble column reactor (11), comprising a bundle of generally parallel heat exchange tubes (16) for transporting heat exchange fluid in the longitudinal direction of the column, a header (24) at one end of the tube bundle for supplying heat exchange fluid to or removing heat exchange fluid from the tubes (16); and two or more sub-headers (25) connected to the header (24) via distribution conduits (26). The sub- headers (25) are also connected to the tubes (16), thereby connecting the header (24) to the tubes (16). The sub-headers (25) are located at at least two different positions in the longitudinal direction of the tubes (16) and at least two different positions in the transverse direction of the tubes (16).
