Zusammenfassung:	A color filter substrate and an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel including the color filter substrate are provided to improve lateral visibility of the LCD panel and enhance the luminance characteristic of the LCD panel. A color filter substrate(200) includes a substrate, a black matrix formed on the substrate, color filters(222) partially superposed on the black matrix and formed on the substrate, and a common electrode formed on the color filter. Each color filter has a recess(223). The recess is formed at the center of the color filter. Each color filter includes a plurality of recesses. The color filter substrate further includes an overcoat film formed between the color filter and the common electrode. The common electrode includes a cut pattern. An LCD panel includes the color filter substrate, a thin film transistor substrate on which thin film transistors and pixel electrodes are electrically connected to the thin film transistors, and a liquid crystal layer interposed between the color filter substrate and the thin film transistor substrate.
