MOBILE TERMINAL AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING KARAOKE FUNCTION USING THEREOF

A mobile communication terminal and a method for offering a karaoke function using the same is provided to enable a user to sing a favorite song through a karaoke device or an external amplifier by transmitting a stored sound file and a user's voice signal to a karaoke device or an external amplifier. A mobile communication terminal comprises a frequency scan module, a memory(120), a controller(110) and a transmitter(160). The frequency scan module scans a frequency of an external device. The memory(120) stores at least one sound file, and frequency setup information scanned by the frequency scan module. The controller(110) outputs a control signal for regenerating a sound file and transmitting the currently regenerated sound file through a set frequency by a user's key inputting signal. The transmitter(160) transmits the sound file to the external device via the set frequency according to the control signal of the controller(110).
