Zusammenfassung:A system and a method for constructing spatial information based on images are provided to simply and automatically construct 3D spatial information for clearly setting relationships between segment models included in an IBPPS(Image Based Point Positioning System), stereoscopic vision images and original images. A method for constructing spatial information based on images includes the steps of generating a 3D sensor model from an original image, determining external expression factors of the 3D sensor model for the original image, and adding the factors to the 3D sensor model. The 3D sensor model is processed into stereoscopic vision image to be divided into a plurality of segment models. RPCs(Rational Polynomial Coefficients) are prepared for the segment models. Data on the segment models are generated. A numerical map for an object area is reconstructed with a CADRG(Compressed Arc Digitized Raster Graphics) file. The segment model file, the CADRG file, and the data are prepared through the NITF(National Imagery Transformation) type IBPPS(Image Based Point Positioning System).
