Zusammenfassung:	A paper money cassette locking apparatus for an automated teller machine is provided to prevent a paper money cassette from being arbitrarily released from a cassette frame, by separately managing the paper money cassette. A bracket(110) is fixed to a cassette frame, and has a certain space therein. A dead bolt(120) has a fixing projection(122) inserted into a paper money cassette, and is movably coupled in the bracket so that the fixing projection goes out from the bracket. A key box(130) moves or locks the dead bolt. A locking groove is formed on one surface of the paper cassette which is contacted with the dead bolt, and a fixing projection is inserted in the locking groove. A resilient member applies a resilient force to the dead bolt.
