Zusammenfassung:	A steering system with lead and pull compensation is provided to improve a function of diagnosing a pull state of a vehicle. A steering system with lead and pull compensation comprises a valve housing(16), and a proportional control valve supported in the valve housing. The steering system further comprises a pressure converter(164) arranged with respect to the proportional control valve to determine the operation of the proportional control valve. The proportional control valve comprises a tube-type valve body(58), a first groove, and a second groove disposed between the valve housing and the valve body. The pressure converter measures pressure difference between the first and the second grooves. The first and the second grooves are formed in the tube-type valve body.
