SEARCHABLE TASK-BASED INTERFACE TO CONTROL PANEL FUNCTIONALITY

A computer implementing method for rendering display related to task-based interface is provided to offer a tool for adjusting setting and configuration alternative related to a computer device. A request for displaying a category view including display for multiple task categories is received. A database is referred to obtain access to a set of information representing which task is affiliated to the task category. The task categories are displayed by relating to more than one affiliated task. The last step includes the step for displaying more than one selectable task supporting navigation to a part of the task-oriented user interface supporting execution of the task when the task is selected.
