Zusammenfassung:An apparatus and a method for incinerating waste accommodated in a drum are provided to secure the safety and health of a worker by safely and effectively burning the waste contained in the drum lid of which is opened. An apparatus for incinerating waste accommodated in a drum includes an incineration furnace(100) for incinerating the waste and a drum feeding unit for feeding the drum in which the waste burned in the incineration furnace is contained. The incineration furnace includes a waste introduction hopper(102), a first combustion chamber(104), a second combustion chamber(114), and a partition wall(112). A passage through which the combustion heat generated in the first combustion chamber can be introduced into the second combustion chamber is formed in the partition wall.
