Zusammenfassung:	There is disclosed a spool case for a bonding wire that comprises of a base (1) and a corresponding cover (2). The spool case is provided with a particularly resilient and easy to use locking means. The locking means includes at least a groove (4) and a matching notch (5). the groove (4) is formed off-centerly at the circumferential edge of the wall of the base. The notch (5), in the other hand, is formed on the circumferential edge of the cover (2). The cover is provided with a holder means and a guiding ridge (9). The base is formed to include a barrel section (6) and a ridge (7). To secure the cover and base, simply put them together and guided by the guiding ridges and rotate them relative to each other. When the notch reaches the end of the groove, it will meet with the wall of the base, thus fittingly securing them in position. To release them, rotate them in the other direction. By pressing the holder means, the cover will lock with the spool thus allowing lifting of the bonding wire spool without physically in contact with them.
