SOLUTION: A finishing machining part 7 is provided with a tape polishing mechanism 8. This finishing device is constituted of a holding part 1 capable of holding the light guide plate W and the finishing machining part 7 capable of mirror-finishing the end face of the light guide plate W. The finishing machining part 7 is provided with the tape polishing mechanism 8 having a polishing tape T made by coating particle abrasives on the surface of a tape-like base material.
