REFRIGERATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the design of the shape of a refrigerator door while increasing a CER (effective internal volume: internal volume/outside dimension) in a refrigerator. SOLUTION: This refrigerator comprises a refrigerator body forming a storage chamber and the refrigerator door 2 formed by integrally solidifying a frame, a door outer panel, and a door inner panel by filling a foam insulator in a space created by the door outer panel and the door inner panel. The door outer panel is formed in a door outer panel having large round parts at its both upper end corner parts. Side edge frames forming frames on both sides of the refrigerator door 2 are formed in side edge frames having round parts covering the round parts of the door outer panel and comprise, at the round part, projected parts concealing the corner parts of the refrigerator body. Upper frames forming both side frames of the refrigerator door 2 are so formed that their upper surfaces roughly match the ceiling surface of the refrigerator. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
