Zusammenfassung:	A light emitting polymer is disclosed which is capable of emitting blue light for a ling time and is excellent in durability. A method for producing such a light emitting polymer and a light emitting device are also disclosed. The blue light emitting polymer is a polymer having a repeating unit represented by the general formula (1) below. In the formula, Ar1 and Ar2respectively represent a benzene derivative group, a naphthalene derivative group, or an anthracene derivative group. A method for producing this blue light emitting polymer and a light emitting device using this blue light emitting polymer are also disclosed.
