Zusammenfassung:The illumination surface of an illumination device (10, 110, 210) with a rectangular illumination surface is composed of components of individual rectangular illumination modules (1). The base assembly comprises a first illumination module (11) of a first size, a second illumination module (21) of a second size, a third illumination module (31), the length of which corresponds to the length of the first illumination module (11) and the width of which corresponds to the width of the second illumination module (21) and a fourth illumination module (41), the length of which corresponds to the width of the first illumination module (11) and the width of which corresponds to the length of the second illumination module (21). A backlighting of a number of sizes of displays can be achieved by means of a combination of the illumination modules.
