Zusammenfassung:	A filling device where a liquid object is prevented from adhering on a seal portion of a packing container and that is capable of achieving stable continuous filling. A filling method is for filling a predetermined amount of content in each of receiving chambers of the packing container. With the filling method, the amount of content to be filled in the packing container can be individually controlled and filling loss can be reduced. In the filling device, a holder (1) has a receiving member (6) for receiving a liquid object (C) falling or dropping from a tip (11a) of a nozzle (11). The receiving member (6) is provided such that, when the packing container (20) is positioned under the nozzle (11), the receiving member is positioned, at least at the rear in a transportation direction (V) of the packing container (20), between the packing container (20) and the tip (11a) of the nozzle (11).
