Zusammenfassung:	A modified chitosan and an artificial dermis using the same are provided to have an enhanced compatibility for a human cell, thereby curing wounds effectively. The artificial dermis using the modified chitosan comprises a first dermis having a sponge type chitosan dermis, a non-woven type chitosan dermis, a porous spherical chitosan dermis, the sponge type, non-woven type or porous spherical chitosan and a collagen mixed dermis or a collagen coated sponge type, non-woven type or porous spherical chitosan dermis. The artificial dermis is prepared by heating the first dermis in a vacuum at a temperature of 60 to 130 deg.C for 1 to 72 hours.
