Zusammenfassung:	An image display device and a channel selection method therefor are provided to allow a user to more conveniently select a channel by displaying the entire channel picture when a user requests channel conversion. A key input unit(5) inputs a request command for which a user wishes. A storing unit(102) stores a channel-classified image received through a tuner(1), and stores various menus. If the user selects a channel selection menu, a display unit(4) displays a channel-classified image signal previously stored in the storing unit. If the user selects a desired image among the channel-classified image signals displayed on the display unit, a control unit(101) performs a control operation to be automatically converted into a corresponding channel.
