CRADLE, RQDIO FREQUENCY RECEIVING SYSTEM AND RADIO FREQUENCY RECEIVING METHOD

A cradle, an RF(Radio Frequency) receiving system and an RF receiving method are provided to obtain stabilized reception conditions with a miniaturized structure, in a portable broadcasting receiver. First and second level controlling units(31a,31b) perform level control of received RF signals, respectively. First and second emission units(33a,33b) emit the RF signals provided from the first and second level controlling unit, respectively. A signal processing unit(32) applies predetermined signal processing to a video signal received through a video input terminal to output the processed video signal to a video output terminal. A power supply circuit(30) generates power to be supplied to the first and second level controlling units, the first and second emission units and the signal processing unit, in accordance with power of a power supply supplied to a power input terminal. A detection unit detects whether a main body is installed at an installation unit. A controller controls the RF signals to a first level for the first and second level controlling units if it is detected that the main body has installed at the installation unit, and controls the RF signals to a second level higher than the first level if it is detected that the main body has not installed at the installation unit.
