Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	A wheel speed sensor for vehicles is provided to prevent erroneous operation of the sensor due to pollutants and to reduce manufacturing steps by disposing the wheel speed sensor inside a tire as a tire pressure monitoring system. A sensor body(2) includes a light emitting portion(3) and a light receiving portion(4) with a predetermined distance between them. The sensor body is disposed inside a tire so that the sensor is rotated with the tire. A sensing plate(12) includes plural slot holes(11) formed along a peripheral direction of the tire. The sensing plate is disposed between the light emitting and receiving portions. A link member(5) is integrated with one side of the sensing plate and is attached to the sensor body via a bearing(6). A fixing mass(7) is fixed on one side of the link member. A wireless transmitter(8) transmits the detected wheel speed to an ECU(Electrical Control Unit)(14).
