FIXING APPARATUS FOR A WET TYPE TONER ELECTRO-PHOTOGRAPHIC APPARATUS USING A MULTIPLE FIXING ROLLER AND A FIXING METHOD THEREOF FOR SUPPLYING CONTINUOUSLY AN IMAGE WITH HIGH QUALITY ON A FINAL SUBSTRATE

PURPOSE: A fixing apparatus for a wet type toner electro-photographic apparatus having a multiple fixing roller and a fixing method thereof are provided to supply continuously an image with high quality on a final substrate. CONSTITUTION: The fixing apparatus(10) includes a prefusing roller(12), a fixing roller(14) and a backup roller(16). The first nip region is formed between the backup roller and the prefusing roller. The second nip region is formed between the backup roller and the fixing roller. One of the prefusing roller and the backup roller is heated so that the prefusing temperature is provided to inside of the first nip region. At least one of the fixing roller and the backup roller is heated so that the other temperature is provided to inside of the second nip region. The fixing temperature of the second nip region is higher than the prefusing temperature of first nip region. The prefusing roller and backup roller of the first nip region is contacted with the materials(24) before the fixing roller and backup roller of the second nip region is contacted with the materials.
