MICROWAVE OVEN WITH A RADIO RECEIVER FOR EASILY RECEIVING BROADCASTING SIGNALS BY SHIELDING THE RADIO RECEIVER WITH A CLOSED SHIELDING CASE WITHOUT AN ADDITIONAL NOISE DAMPING CIRCUIT

PURPOSE: A cooking apparatus with a radio receiver is provided to receive radio broadcasting signals easily, and to output the acoustic signals cleanly by shielding the radio receiver against high frequency signals from a magnetron or noise from a high voltage circuit. CONSTITUTION: A microwave oven(120) is composed of a heating apparatus heating food, a radio receiver(156) receiving radio signals, and shielding cases(158,160) shielding the radio receiver from the signals from the heating apparatus, and divided into a cooking chamber(126) and an electric component chamber(136). A magnetron(130) generating high frequency, a high voltage circuit unit having a high voltage capacitor(128) supplying high voltage to the magnetron, a high voltage transformer(140) and a high voltage diode(184), and a cooling fan are installed in the electric component chamber. A control unit and the radio receiver are mounted in a circuit board, and the shielding cases are arranged in the front and the rear part of the radio receiver in the circuit board to shield the radio receiver against high frequency signals and noise.
