METHOD FOR HOLDING PAPER SLEEVE FOR COILING HOT DIP COATED PRODUCTS SUCH THAT BOTH SIDES OF PAPER SLEEVE ARE KEPT FROM BEING TORN OR DAMAGED WHEN CLAMP OF TRANSFER CAR CLAMPS PAPER SLEEVE

PURPOSE: To provide a method for holding paper sleeve for coiling hot dip coated products, the method capable of holding the paper sleeve after the clamp is adjusted as much as width of the paper sleeve by measuring deviation of a central part of the paper sleeve and correcting a clamp using the measured deviation value. CONSTITUTION: The method for holding paper sleeve for coiling hot dip coated products comprises a paper sleeve width measuring step of measuring width(W) of the paper sleeve(10) transferred to a lower part of the transfer car by a conveyor using a length measuring optical sensor(152) installed at a specific position of a lower part of a transfer car; a paper sleeve transfer step of transferring a central part(C) of the paper sleeve to a central part of clamps of the transfer car as much as a set distance(M); a paper sleeve central part measuring step of measuring a distance(L) from the specific position to the central part of the paper sleeve; a paper sleeve central part deviation calculating step of calculating a deviation between the central part of the paper sleeve and a central part of the clamps of the transfer car based on the specific position; a clamp central part adjusting step of adjusting position of the central part of the clamps according to the calculated deviation; and a paper sleeve holding step of adjusting width of the clamps and holding the paper sleeve using the clamps.
