PORTABLE COMPUTER HAVING SECURITY AND PORTABILITY FUNCTION

PURPOSE: A portable computer equipped with a docking unit is provided to satisfy security and portability at the same time by installing a network switch and a switch controller to the docking unit attachable to a main body. CONSTITUTION: A system main body(10) has a network controller(22), the first hard disk(24), and the first disk switch(25) for blocking the first hard disk from the system. The docking unit(30) is attached to the system main body. The network switch(31) is installed to the docking unit, and makes the network controller selectively connect with one of the internal and the external network(3,5). The switch controller(32) is installed one side of the system main body or the docking unit, and controls the network switch. In case that the network controller is connected to the external network, the switch controller makes the first disk switch block the first hard disk from the system.
