AIR BAG DELAY UNFOLDING-PREVENTING DEVICE AND A CONTROL METHOD THEREOF, REDUCING PASSENGER'S INJURY CAUSED BY AN AIR BAG

PURPOSE: An air bag delay unfolding-preventing device and a control method thereof are provided to prevent expansion of an air bag or reduce the pressure of the air bag if the passenger's movement speed is faster than a reference value. CONSTITUTION: An air bag delay unfolding-preventing device comprises a collision sensor(100) sensing a vehicle collision; an acceleration sensor(400) measuring deceleration and acceleration of a vehicle; and CPU(Central Processing Unit,200) calculating deceleration and acceleration from the acceleration sensor, calculating passenger's movement distance through double integral of the deceleration and acceleration, comparing the passenger's movement distance with a reference value, and sending an expansion control signal to an air bag drive part(300).
