Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of cotton raw yarn having reverse denim effect is economical, convenient and simple. CONSTITUTION: Cotton raw yarn having reverse denim effect is obtained by the steps of: manufacturing a leuco indigo solution by using a catalytic hydrogen additive reaction; using a wetting agent; dyeing the cotton raw yarn on 5-500g/l of indigo concentration at 30-90deg.C of dyeing temperature; bleaching a surface of the dyed cotton raw yarn selectively in a bleaching bath containing potassium permanganate and a thickener; and then treating the cotton raw yarn with a bisulfite solution. The amount of the used wetting agent is 5-50g/l and preferably 10-25g/l.
