Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE: A flash butt welding method of extra low carbon steel containing titanium is provided to prevent welding failure, and to analyze the welding quality quantitatively by restricting the oxide from being generated in the welding portion. CONSTITUTION: In a flash butt welding method of extra low carbon steel containing oxygen-friendly titanium of 250 to 650 ppm and carbon of 40 ppm, the weld start position is selected within the range of 24 to 55 mm according to the thickness of the welding material. A movable bar is moved forward at uniform acceleration during the flash process, and the flash speed rate is predetermined according to the thickness of the material to continuously short-circuit and generate arc by compensating the material. The upset pressure is selected within the range of 6 to 50 bar to the entire sectional area by applying 7 to 8 kgf/mm¬2 per unit area. Welding is performed by applying 16 to 19 Volt. |
