COMMUNICATION DEVICE AND A METHOD, PARTICULARLY CONCERNED WITH SUPPLYING IDENTIFICATION INFORMATION OF A CALLING PARTY TO A RECEIVING PARTY OF AN INTERNET PROTOCOL CALL WITHIN AN INTERNET PROTOCOL NETWORK

PURPOSE: A communication device and a method are provided to include more than one call control component, while more than one of more than the one call control component connects an Internet protocol call to an Internet protocol endpoint, and to enable more than one of more than the one call control component to collect identification information of a communication device to transmit the collected information to the Internet protocol endpoint. CONSTITUTION: A device(100) consists of more than one call control component(102,104), more than one communication device(105,107,109,111) such as Internet protocol end points(106,108,110) and a landline endpoints(112), more than one Internet protocol service DB(114,116), and more than one Internet protocol network(118). A PSTN(120) connects the landline endpoint(112) with the Internet protocol network(118) for communication. The first Internet protocol domain(122) comprises the call control component(102), the Internet protocol endpoints(106,108), and the Internet protocol service DB(114). The second Internet protocol domain(124) comprises the call control component(104), the Internet protocol endpoint(110), and the Internet protocol service DB(116).
