Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE: Provided is a neutron nanotube, which has high efficiency and high sensitivity sufficient to realize a neutron detector having high detection sensitivity for neutrons and rapid response time. CONSTITUTION: The neutron nanotube using a carbon nanotube comprises a carbon nanotube(4a) having a neutron transformation layer for generating a nuclear reaction with a neutron and for emitting an electron on the outer circumferential surface thereof. Particularly, the neutron transformation layer is composed of an inner neutron reactive layer(4b) and an outer electron emissive layer(4c). Additionally, the neutron detector comprises the neutron nanotube formed on the bottom surface of a substrate, a drift electrode formed on the top surface of the substrate, and a voltage applying unit. |
