SWASH PLATE TYPE COMPRESSOR FOR VEHICLE AIR CONDITIONING FOR MINIMIZING LIQUID BACK GENERATED IN STOPPING VEHICLE FOR A LONG TIME

PURPOSE: A swash plate type compressor for vehicle air conditioning is provided to reduce power consumption generated in discharging a refrigerant, and minimize liquid back generated in stopping a vehicle for hours. CONSTITUTION: Cylinder blocks(50,51) are installed in front and rear housings(58,59), having plural cylinder bores(52). A driving shaft(65) is installed passing through the centers of the front and rear housings and the cylinder blocks. A swash plate(54) is fixedly installed on an outer peripheral surface of the driving shaft. Pistons(53) reciprocate in the cylinder bores by interposing one end into the swash plate for compressing a refrigerant. A chamber(101) is formed at an outer side of the front or rear housing, having an inflow port(101a) for flowing the discharged refrigerant in, and a discharge port(101b) for discharging the refrigerant. A discharging element is installed in the chamber for discharging the refrigerant through the discharge port.
