METHOD FOR CONTROLLING SCREEN POSITION

PURPOSE: A method for controlling a screen position is provided to automatically adjust the screen position to reduce man power and time. CONSTITUTION: Power of an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is off to apply white light to the entire screen of the LCD panel(S310). It is determined whether optical sensors formed on the screen sense light to control the position of an optical engine(S320,S330). A predetermined adjustment pattern is applied to the LCD panel and an output position variable register value of an LCD panel driving circuit is controlled according to whether the optical sensors sense light to align the screen in a predetermined direction(S360). An input size variable register value of a video processor is controlled such that all the optical sensors sense the control pattern to magnify or reduce the screen vertically and horizontally to adjust the position of the screen(S380,S390).
