Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: A weight measuring apparatus of vehicles and a method for the same are provided to prevent accidents derived from the excessive weight of the vehicles by displaying the excessive weight of the vehicles. CONSTITUTION: A weight measuring apparatus of vehicles includes a displacement sensor(6), an electronic control unit(8), and an instrument panel(10). The displacement sensor is used for measuring the length of a spring supporting the body of vehicles. The displacement sensor is installed between the body of the vehicles and a wheel axis of the vehicles. The electronic control unit(8) calculates the weight of the vehicles according to the displacement of the spring. The instrument panel(10) includes a display unit. When the maximum weight of the vehicles is exceeded, the display unit informs the fact that the maximum weight of the vehicles is exceeded.
