SYSTEM FOR SUPPLYING A POSITION-BASED SMALL SUM INSURANCE SERVICE IN A MOBILE COMMUNICATION NETWORK AND A METHOD THEREFOR, CONCERNED WITH ENABLING A SUER TO EASILY USE A PROPER INSURANCE PRODUCT

PURPOSE: A system for supplying a position-based small sum insurance service in a mobile communication network and a method therefor are provided to transmit a message which canvasses for insurance to a mobile communication terminal of a user when the user moves to a specific position, and to induce the user to take out an insurance policy. CONSTITUTION: A mobile communication provider server(400) receives position information on a mobile communication terminal(100) from a base station(200), and requests a message which canvasses for insurance. A small sum insurance service supply server(500) transmits the message to the server(400), and transmits an announcement message for a small sum insurance to the terminal(100) when a small sum insurance subscription information request is received, so that a user can take out an insurance policy. An insurance company server(600) receives subscription information, and transmits information necessary for the taken insurance policy to the server(500).
