AGENT FOR DEOXIDIZING AND DESULFURIZING OF MOLTEN STEEL AND METHOD FOR PREPARING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An agent for deoxidizing and desulfurizing of molten steel is provided which is covered on a steel pipe to improve deoxidization and desulfurization efficiency of the steel pipe by comprising certain components of Al, Mg, Ca, CaCO3, Si and Fe, and a method for preparing the same is provided. CONSTITUTION: In a deoxidizing and desulfurizing agent for refining molten steel in steelmaking and steel casting processes, the agent comprises 30 to 50 wt.% of aluminum (Al), 5 to 20 wt.% of magnesium (Mg), 1 to 3 wt.% of calcium (Ca), 5 to 20 wt.% of calcium carbonate (CaCO3), 2 to 6 wt.% of silicon (Si) and a balance of iron (Fe), wherein the agent is embedded in an inner space of steel pipe having a certain diameter. The method for preparing a deoxidizing and desulfurizing agent comprises a step of preparing a deoxidizing and desulfurizing agent(5) consisted of 30 to 50 wt.% of aluminum (Al), 5 to 20 wt.% of magnesium (Mg), 1 to 3 wt.% of calcium (Ca), 5 to 20 wt.% of calcium carbonate (CaCO3), 2 to 6 wt.% of silicon (Si) and a balance of iron (Fe) and prepared in a powder or granule shape; and a step of continuously injecting the prepared powder or granule shaped deoxidizing and desulfurizing agent into a pipe forming machine and forming steel pipes(4) having certain diameter in the pipe forming machine at the same time.
