Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: A surfactant composition for protecting vegetables from plant diseases and a method for protecting vegetables from plant diseases using the same composition are provided, thereby effectively preventing and treating phytophthora blight and downy mildew, and significantly reducing the amount of agricultural chemicals used. CONSTITUTION: The surfactant composition for protecting vegetables from plant diseases comprises one or more kinds of surfactants selected from polyoxyethylene lauryl ether with 3 to 20 moles of ethylene oxide, sodium dioctylsulfosuccinate and sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate, wherein the surfactant composition further contains agricultural chemicals for controlling phytophthora blight of red pepper and tomato and downy mildew of cucumber. The method for protecting vegetables from plant diseases comprises spraying the diluted surfactant composition containing 50 to 1,000 mg/l of the surfactant to vegetables.
