METHOD FOR BACKUP AND DOWNLOADING PERSONAL DATA OF MOBILE TERMINAL

PURPOSE: A method for backup and downloading personal data of a mobile terminal is provided to enable a mobile terminal to use personal information by making a personal information backup to storage server and download it when desired. CONSTITUTION: An existing mobile terminal is connected to a personal information storage server and transmits the terminal information received from a user through a data channel and the personal information to be backup(S201,S202). The personal information storage server transmits a message asking about agreement of information transmission, and when the user agrees to it, the personal information received from the existing mobile terminal is stored in a data format according to the terminal information(S203-S205). A new mobile terminal is connected to the personal information storage server, receives information on the new terminal and personal information desired to be downloaded from the user through a data channel, and transmits them(S206,S207). The personal information storage server transmits a message asking about agreement of information inputting, and when the user agrees to it, the personal information is converted into a data format according to a model of the new terminal and then transmitted(S208,S209). The new mobile terminal receives the personal information from the personal information storage server and stores it in a storage space(S210,S211).
