WIDE AREA PSEUDOLITE NAVIGATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A wide area pseudolite navigation system is provided to extend an area where a position of a user be checked. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of cells are formed so that a part of an area formed by one cell is overlapped with a part of an area formed by an adjacent cell. Each cell has a main pseudolite and a plurality of sub pseudolites and a cell reference station to synchronize a clock of the sub pseudolites to a clock of the main pseudolite. Local reference stations(210,220,230) are installed on the overlapped area, and receive and output a distance measurement signal transmitted from the main pseudolite of the cells including the area where it is installed. A main reference station(300) receives the distance measurement signal from the local reference stations, and generates a command synchronizing the clocks of the main pseudolites to a reference clock of its own, and outputs the command toward the main pseudolites.
