METHOD FOR CONTINUOUSLY TRANSMITTING DATA IN WIRELESS LAN

PURPOSE: A method for continuously transmitting data in a wireless LAN is provided to consider a packet stream consisting of small-sized packets as a fragmented data unit of large service data, and to continuously transmit the packet stream in a fragmented burst transmission method, thereby reducing a load continuous time and improving service quality. CONSTITUTION: If the number of packet streams remains in a data queue at more than the number of preset packet streams, a system selects a packet to be transmitted. The system decides whether a next packet of the same stream as the selected packet of the data queue exists. If so, the system sets an index informing a header of the transmitted packet of a continuous transmission, and transmits the selected packet within a DIFS(DFS interframe space), then selects a next packet. If the next packet of the same stream as the selected packet does not exist, the system releases the index, and transmits the selected packet within the DIFS, then completes the procedure.
