SUBMARINE MOUNTED WITH TANK FOR FLOWING IN AND STORING LIQUID OXYGEN

PURPOSE: A submarine is provided to satisfy specific demand conditions of a military submarine with a tank for absorbing and keeping liquefied gas, in particular liquid oxygen. CONSTITUTION: In a submarine having a tank(1) for sucking in and storing oxygen, the tank has a compressed and sealed inner wall(2) and an outer wall(5). The inner and outer walls are connected to each other by a supporting member(6). An empty space formed between the inner and outer walls is completely filled with a filler body(7) and vacuum. The filler body is hollow and comprises fine glass balls. The diameter of the filler body is 20¯120 micron m and compacted. The supporting member endures constant load acting between the inner and outer walls. The supporting member is a strap. At least one shut-off pipe(8) for filling or emptying the tank is installed.
