VOIP TELEPHONE CALL DEVICE USING DIGITAL TELEVISION SET

PURPOSE: A VoIP telephone call device using a digital television set is provided to integratedly comprise a VoIP function on a digital television set, and to perform a video phone call and a voice phone call, so that a user watches the digital television set or control operations of plural home appliances connected through a home network bus. CONSTITUTION: A television function performer(130) performs an operational function of a television set(100). An Internet interface(140) interfaces predetermined data in connection with an Internet network. A VoIP function performer(180) codes a voice signal inputted through a microphone(170), and decodes a voice signal inputted through the Internet network. A controller(110) obtains an IP address in accordance with dialing information, transmits a packet including the coded voice signal to the Internet network, forms the coded voice signal as a packet, and transmits the packet. The controller(110) extracts the voice signal from the packet, and supplies the voice signal to the VoIP function performer(180).
