Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE: An A/D converter using a frequency divider to control a gain is provided to control easily the gain of the A/D converter by using a dividing number of the frequency divider. CONSTITUTION: An A/D converter using a frequency divider to control a gain includes an 8-bit counter, an N-number frequency divider, a 16-frequency divider, a first and a second multiplexer, a resistance heat and switching unit, a comparator, and a memory cell. The 8-bit counter(1) is operated by a master clock and counts the number of clocks. The N-number frequency divider is driven by a clock frequency of the master clock. The 16-frequency divider is used for dividing an output signal of the N-number frequency divider into 16. The first and the second multiplexers are used for receiving output signals of the N-number frequency divider and the 16-frequency divider. The resistance heat and switching unit(10) is controlled by the first and the second multiplexers. The comparator(11) is used for comparing a ramp signal with an analog signal. The memory cell(12) is used for storing values of the 8-bit counter. |
