SYSTEM FOR MANAGING TRAFFIC INFORMATION

PURPOSE: A system for managing traffic information is provided to improve the basic traffic information generating/processing procedure to a hardware processing method by replacing a detecting signal processor with a single chip and smoothly advance the traffic information processing procedure by the linking operation of the circuit resources of the single chip and the modules of a detecting signal relay terminal. CONSTITUTION: A traffic information detector(300) detects the basic traffic information related to the flows of cars(1) by installing to a fixed body aside a road. A detecting signal relay(400) generates diagnosis information by diagnosing an operation situation of the traffic information detector, generates the important traffic information by collecting the basic traffic information output from the traffic information detector, and outputs the diagnosis information and the important traffic information to the outside. A central traffic manager generally analyzes/manages the diagnosis information and the important traffic information after receiving the diagnosis information and the important traffic information from the detecting signal relay.
