SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR EXAMINING/SOLVING ELECTRONIC DOCUMENT FOR POSSIBLE PROBLEMS BEFORE PUBLICATION

PURPOSE: A system and a method for examining/solving an electronic document for possible problems before publication are provided to allow a user partial control during a document checking process. CONSTITUTION: The system includes an event manager(202), a design checker(210), more than one problem checkers(212A-212C), and a user interface(100) for displaying a list(102) of the design problems. The event manager includes a program module for monitoring a user action(204) made in the electronic document. The user action is stored as an event separated from an event list. At a terminal of the inclusive user action, the event manager filters the repeated event from the event list. An event queue(206) including the event list is transmitted to other program modules(208) existing in a document publishing program. The design checker includes the program module for receiving the filtered event list from the event queue transmitted by the event manager and filters the event from the event list not related to the publication of the electronic document.
