Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A prism sheet and a liquid crystal display device using the same are provided to improve the vertical incidence to a liquid crystal display panel by condensing light, and realize uniform distribution of brightness. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display panel displays an image. A lamp emits light. A light guide plate is arranged at the rear of the liquid crystal display panel for radiating the light towards the liquid crystal display panel. An optical sheet layer is interposed between the liquid crystal display panel and the light guide plate. The optical sheet layer includes a plurality of prism sheets having a plurality of prism convexes formed in parallel in a predetermined pitch. A V-shaped groove(46a) is formed at the top of each prism convex(46) of a first prism sheet(36) in association with a longitudinal direction of the prism convex.
