Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE: A circuit for driving a liquid crystal display is provided to simplify the construction of the driving circuit by constructing the output buffer block with incorporating therein a plurality of latter resistors. CONSTITUTION: A circuit for driving a liquid crystal display includes a plurality of ladder resistors(51), a plurality of multiplexing blocks(52) and a plurality of output buffers(53). The plurality of ladder resistors(51) which is connected between the power voltage and the ground voltage in parallel outputs the gamma voltages through each node by dividing the power voltage. The plurality of multiplexing blocks(52) receives gamma voltages from each of the ladder resistors(51) and selects one from the gamma voltages by the external control signal to output the selected gamma voltage. And, the plurality of output buffers(53) stabilizes the gamma voltage selected from the multiplexing blocks(52) to output the stabilized gamma voltage.
본 발명은 다수의 래더 저항부를 내장한 버퍼 IC를 구성함으로써 전체적인 구동회로의 구성을 단순화시킴과 동시에 다양한 사이즈를 갖는 패널을 구동할 수 있도록 한 액정표시장치의 구동회로에 관한 것으로서, 전원전압과 접지전압 사이에 병렬로 연결되어 전원전압을 분배하여 각 노드를 통해 감마전압들을 출력하는 다수의 래더 저항부와, 상기 각 래더 저항부의 감마전압들을 입력으로 받아 외부의 제어신호에 의해 하나의 감마전압을 선택하여 출력하는 복수개의 먹스부와, 상기 각 먹스부에서 선택된 감마전압을 받아 안정화시키어 출력하는 출력 버퍼부를 포함하여 구성됨을 특징으로 한다. |
